PHOENIX - Phoenix police say a 13-year-old girl has been died after she suffered a cardiac arrest in a house that caught fire in central Phoenix Thursday morning.
Phoenix Police are identifying the 13 year old girl as Briana Naylor .
Phoenix fire spokesman Jonathan Jacobs said when crews arrived at the home near Camelback Road and 10th Street they found Naylor in cardiac arrest.
Jacobs described the fire as a "contents fire", in the home with an unknown cause at this point.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by Phoenix Fire Department Arson Investigators.
The Phoenix Police Homicide Department Investigators are also at the scene due to the death of Naylor.
Police are calling the fire "suspicious" at this point.
