FD: 1 hospitalized after bee attack in Phoenix

PHOENIX - Firefighters say multiple people were stung after a bee attack in central Phoenix Wednesday night.

Officials say the incident happened around 8:15 p.m. near 12th Street and Palm Lane.

Phoenix Fire Department officials say one person was taken to the hospital after being stung.

Authorities said several others suffered small stings and were able to take care of themselves.

Fire crews say the bees were swarming around several houses in the neighborhood.

Firefighters said once they were able to locate the hive, they used foam to kill the bees.
