PHOENIX - A family, including children, was sent to the hospital after a serious rollover crash Thursday morning in Phoenix.
According to authorities, the crash happened around 9:30 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 10 at 31st Avenue.
Spokesman Raul Garcia with the Arizona Department of Public Safety said the vehicle traveled from the westbound lanes of Interstate 10, into the median and onto eastbound Interstate 10.
The five people in the vehicle were two adults and three children, Garcia said.
Both of the adults were transported to St. Joseph's Hospital, and the children were transported to Phoenix Children's Hospital.
Authorities said they believe a tire failure was the cause of the rollover.
The crash blocked the left lanes until around 11 a.m. No other information was released.
