About 110,000 people are expected to show up at this year's Phoenix Comicon.

Mixed in with the crowd, David Beaty, best known for his work with DC Comics. His latest character, "Focus."

"I think it's going to be more personal," Beaty said.

That's because "Focus" is an autistic super hero.

Beaty has worked on other famous projects like Batman Inc. and Flashpoint; Wonder Woman but this project is really different.

"We're going to be able to address issues and try to tackle things in a different way," Beaty said.

Beaty and his project partner will be at Comicon this weekend, signing posters but also taking donations to help fund the project.

"We're hoping to inspire hope with autistic individuals and show that they can be everyday superheroes too," says Yvonne Wan who is helping Beaty with the project.

They hope to get the project funded and created as soon as possible.
