PHOENIX - A Glendale man has pleaded guilty to murder and other charges stemming from the killing of a man whose body was burned and dumped near the White Tank Mountains.
A Maricopa County Superior Court spokeswoman says Daniel Griffith pleaded guilty Monday to second-degree murder, abandonment or concealment of a body and fraudulent use of a credit card.
Glendale police Sgt. Brent Coombs said the man's burned body was dumped near 195th Avenue and Olive.
Griffith was booked into 4th Avenue Jail on Feb. 10, 2012.
He's scheduled to be sentenced on Oct. 17.
His wife, Jennifer Griffith, awaits trial.
