Creighton Elementary cancels classes after deadly crash knocks out power

PHOENIX - Classes were canceled Monday at an Arizona elementary school after a deadly crash knocked out nearby power lines.

Creighton Elementary School located near McDowell Road and 30th Street in Phoenix canceled classes after power was knocked out early Monday morning, said school officials.

Electrical crews were on site working to restore power throughout the early morning hours.

Authorities were investigating a deadly one-vehicle rollover. Traffic is restricted on McDowell Road from 26th Street to 30th Street, said police.
