Emergency crews shut down part of the Loop 202 Red Mountain freeway Wednesday night after a serious crash.
The Arizona Department of Transportation said the westbound lanes of L-202 at 32nd Street were closed shortly after 9 p.m. when someone was ejected in the two-vehicle collision.

The eastbound lanes remained open, and it is unclear when the westbound lanes would be reopened.
