Celebrate Father's Day with 'Dadology' at the Arizona Science Center

Dads may not get all the press and hoopla moms get, but they are equally worth celebrating. Arizona Science Center provides a way to do just that with "Dad-ology Day" on Sunday, June 16.

Not only do dads and granddads receive free admission to the Center, there is also a line-up of dad-centric events sure to please the rest of the family as well. Throughout the day, visitors can build and zoom "spud speedsters" around a race track, vying for the fastest time, or demolish electronics with a hydraulic presser called "Big Red."

There are also a variety of scheduled activities dads and their kids can plug into, like a chemistry class at 11 a.m. and a circuit-making class at 1 p.m.

Other options include the IMAX theater productions "Tornado Alley" and "To the Arctic 3D," the SkyCycle and 300 other themed exhibits spread throughout the museum.
