PHOENIX - The Sandra Day O'Connor Institute is getting a new home.
Arizona State University and the organization named for the former U.S. Supreme Court justice have announced that the institute will relocate from office space in east-central Phoenix to a new Arizona State University Building in 2016 in downtown Phoenix.
The new Arizona Center for Law and Society is now under construction. The six-story building also will house a public law library and civic outreach center as well as an ASU law firm that employs recent ASU law school graduates.
The O'Connor Institute's stated goal is to foster civil discussion and consensus on public issues.
