The video was found just one day after the Senator released a statement apologizing for his son's insensitive twitter comments against blacks and homosexuals.

Children have access to many different social media sites and mobile apps. This violent video is just one example of how good kids can make bad choices using these sites.

"You need to talk to your children so they understand the consequences of what they post," said Pam Baumann, MASK parenting expert. "Most kids don't know how to use these adult sites like responsible adults and they don't understand that once something goes online it will never go away. It's important to explain that to them."

While there is no foolproof way to prevent your kids from inappropriately using social media sites, the best advice is to stay one step ahead of them.

Knowing all of your children's passwords and monitoring what they and their friends post on the sites can help ensure your child doesn't post something with serious consequences.

It's important to talk to your kids about these consequences and use incidents like Flake's son to teach them what is appropriate and what is not.
