Arizona Humane Society offering discounted $20 spay, neuter services for puppies, kittens in June

The Valley is overcrowded with dogs and cats looking for homes in shelters and roaming the streets as strays.

Did you know that even your adorable new puppy can get pregnant at only 4 months old?

One pair of dogs has the ability to create 67,000 dogs in just six years, while a pair of cats can create 420,000 cats in just seven years, according to the Arizona Humane Society.

Many pet owners don't realize the importance of spaying and neutering their animals, which is an easy and quick way to prevent overpopulation.

In addition, having your pet spayed or neutered can help improve temperment and prevent life-threatening diseases like cancer and infections.

Arizona Humane Society has teamed up with Altered Tails Barnhart Clinic and PetSmart Charities to provide a special deal for pet owners in the month of June.

During the month of June, bring your puppy or kitten under 6 months old to be fixed for only $20.

There is limited availability for this discounted service, so call ahead to schedule an appointment.

In order to receive the deal, you must mention the "Precious...Not Parents" advertisement special.

To make an appointment or call for more information, call AHS at 602-997-7585 and choose Option 4.
