There is a lot of uncertainty in our state when it comes to Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA.

A couple events happening in our state in the last week regarding the program, including a DACA Summit hosted by Congressman Ruben Gallego on Saturday.

The summit was held at Phoenix College and it allowed panelists to answer community questions on the future of the DACA program.

That program gives work permits and relief from deportation for nearly 30,000 people in our state.

"Information is empowerment and so, lets be well-informed so we know exactly how we move forward through some difficult times," said Luis Heredia with the Congressman's office.
