An Arizona man accused of killing a man then driving the body in a U-Haul to California is now in a Valley jail.

Court documents show 24-year-old Andres Garnica Serrato was extradited from Modesto, Calif. to the 4th Avenue Jail on Jan. 8 at 3 a.m.

Serrato is accused of shooting and killing 31-year-old Joshua Luck at Serrato's apartment on Nov. 27.

Serrato told police in California that he shot Luck because he believed Luck was having an affair with his wife.

Police say Serrato invited Luck over to help him move and shot him twice inside the apartment.

According to court documents, Serrato's wife helped clean up after the shooting and even helped load Luck's body into the U-Haul so Serrato could drive it to California.

The next day, on Nov. 28, police in Modesto arrested Serrato for domestic violence and weapons charges.

On Nov. 29, a missing person report was filed on Luck. That same day, someone found the abandoned U-Haul with Luck's body outside Modesto.

The investigation is ongoing and police have not yet recommended any charges against Serratos' wife.
