The woman suspected of kidnapping a 2-year-old boy was arrested Thursday night in Phoenix at a family member's home.
The suspect, 19-year-old Anna Marie Johnson was apprehended at 10 p.m. after dozens of tips had come in regarding her whereabouts.
Johnson was reportedly cooperative and went to Gila River Indian Community for an interview with police. She was then arrested and charged, a news release says.
The boy who was abducted, Eric Warrior Smith Jr. was found safe by police Monday morning after an Amber Alert was sent throughout the country.
Johnson, the boy's babysitter, left the boy in her minivan near Vee Quiva Casino where he was found by authorities.
Investigators are trying to determine why Johnson abducted the boy.
