Allen Arslan: 85-year-old Phoenix man accused of molesting kids

PHOENIX - An 85-year-old Phoenix man is behind bars, accused of inappropriately touching young children.

Court documents say Allen Arslan is currently the suspect in several child molestation cases.

One incident happened at a very popular grocery store and restaurant, La Grande Orange, near 40th Street and Indian School Road.

Documents say Arslan was at the restaurant when he approached a 3-year-old girl who was standing just feet away from her mother, and touched her inappropriately.

Soon after, the suspect is accused of approaching a 6-year-old, and reaching his hand up her dress.

This time, an employee with the La Grande Orange saw what happened and spoke up.

Both incidents happened on a Saturday morning, when the business is extremely busy

Court documents reveal Arslan admitted to police that he touched the girls.

Police also asked him about a separate incident that happened in March at a different grocery store.

Arslan admitted to touching another 3-year-old, saying he was playing hi-five with her at the time.

"It is disgusting and it shows that predators even target your children in a place where you think they will be safe," said Rudy Berk, who lives nearby.

ABC15 reached out to La Grande Orange and they declined to comment because it is an ongoing police investigation.
