Two sisters finally got a chance to meet each other in San Francisco after only recently learning about one another.
A Phoenix woman traveled to San Francisco to meet her sister for the first time after keeping in contact with her for only nine months.
The sisters were adopted when they were young and hadn't known about each other. In fact, one of the sisters didn't learn she was adopted until she was 26 years old.
Adoption papers were supposed to be burned long ago, but an aunt had kept the papers until the sisters' mother died, when one sister learned of another sibling.
The two reunited at the California airport where they began to get to know one another after so many years.
They were also very excited to see how much they had in common, especially appearance. During their tearful reunion, both sisters were stunned to learn "(they) have the same everything!"
The sisters vow they will stick together forever, now.
