2013 Arizona State Fair: More than 980,000 attend for food, rides

PHOENIX - It was a great finale to the Arizona State Fair when a Jersey Dairy cow gave birth to a healthy baby girl.

A state fair official says "Charlie" was born at 10:31 a.m. Sunday to 2-year-old Pansy. Baby Charlie and mom are doing great. Charlie is Pansy's first calf.

Pansy's owner, 11-year-old Regan Moss from Litchfield Park, is part of the Moss family, owners of Mountain Shadow Dairy.

If you have yet to try some of the latest food creations or been able to jump on a couple of the newest rides, you still have time to head over to the Arizona State Fairgrounds.
