PD: Bouncer ID'd in deadly Phoenix bar shooting, suspects loose

PHOENIX - Police have identified a bar bouncer who died after a shooting early Friday morning in Phoenix.

According to Phoenix police Sgt. Tommy Thompson, the shooting happened around 2 a.m. at Mi Ranchito Dancing Bar near 32nd Street and Thomas Road.

Police said 33-year-old Jesus Rafael Lozano-Vidal was not working at the time but helped co-workers clear out the bar after hours.

While closing the bar, Lozano-Vidal noticed a person leaving with a bottle of beer, Thompson said.

One of the friends then shot Lozano-Vidal, and they all ran from the scene.

Lozano-Vidal was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Police are searching for three suspects, all men in their 20s. Very little details are being released at this time.
