SEDONA, AZ - Vice President Joe Biden will speak in Sedona on Friday during a dinner organized by an international affairs think tank.
The weekend forum is hosted by the McCain Institute for International Leadership at Arizona State University and the theme for the second annual focuses on how to effectively promote freedom and democracy worldwide.
Also in attendance will be Senator John McCain, Arizona State University President Michael Crow, former NBA star Dikembe Mutombo, former Senator Jon Kyl, and many others.
Crow said in a news release that he is proud to have Vice President Biden and so many other distinguished leaders participating in the forum.
Guests at last year's inaugural forum included former CIA Director David Petraeus, actor and activist Ben Affleck and five U.S. Senators.
Founded in 2012, the McCain Institute is a non-profit, non-partisan decision tank based in Washington, D.C., in cooperation with Arizona State University.
