Officials are investigating after two-year-old fell 65 feet from a Sedona trail on Saturday afternoon.
According to the Sedona Fire District, crews were called out to Midgley Bridge. A person had fallen and landed on a ledge about 65 feet below the trail shortly before 2 p.m.
The Coconino County Sheriff's Office says the victim was a 2-year-old child.
Fire crews rappelled down the vertical rock to reach the individual who was pronounced deceased.
Coconino County Sheriff's officials are investigating the fall and are also recovering the child's body.
CCSO says the child was with family and they were on vacation from Nebraska at the time.
Other information is currently unknown.
