Mohave County authorities have identified two men killed in a helicopter crash in western Arizona.

The county Medical Examiner's Office says it identified the men killed as 55-year-old David Cormey and 52-year-old Timothy Shawn Brown. The Sheriff's Office says Cormey was from Prescott Valley and Brown from Glendale.

The National Transportation Safety Board says the Robinson R66 crashed in hilly desert terrain near Wikieup  on the afternoon of June 23 on a flight from Prescott, Arizona, to Riverside, California.

A preliminary report issued Wednesday by the NTSB says the helicopter broke up on impact, leaving a debris field 750 yards long and 150 yards wide.

The preliminary report does not indicate what caused the crash. The agency may later issue a final report that could state the cause.
