PRESCOTT, AZ - Prescott's residential real estate market is bouncing back.
The Daily Courier reports that the average sales price of 49 homes sold over a two-week span in late June and early July was nearly $373,000. That's up from $286,000 from Jan. 1 to June 23.
The higher average price spiked partly because of three homes that each recently sold for over $1 million. The area had only one $1 million sale in the first six months of 2013, compared with six so far this year
In the broader Prescott area, the $225,000 average price for single-family homes sold from Jan. 1 to June 23 was up 10 percent over the same period of 2013.
