Officials looking for missing Prescott Valley man

PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ - Authorities with the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office are looking for a Prescott Valley man who was reported missing earlier this week.

Terry Zane Ferrell, 48, was last seen walking from his home on the 11700 block of Dusty Trail in Coyote Springs the morning of July 3, according to a YCSO news release. Ferrell did not indicate why he was leaving, and has not been seen since.

Authorities said Ferrell is 5 feet 9 inches tall, approximately 160 pounds, with blue eyes and blonde hair. He is balding on the back of his head, and has "Fu Manchu" style facial hair. Deputies do not have a description of his clothing, but say Farrell frequently wears a tan baseball cap.

In addition, Farrell is known to enjoy camping in the Perkinsville and Coyote Springs outback areas, the release says. Yavapai County Sheriff's Office Forest Patrol deputies have searched these areas without success, and are now asking anyone with information on Ferrell to contact the Sheriff's Office.

Ferrell left his cell phone and vehicle behind, so it is possible he was picked up by a vehicle while he was walking, according to officials.

Out-of-state friends and family have been contacted, but no one has heard from Ferrell since July 3, according to the YCSO.
