The Prescott Police Department is investigating a deadly motorcycle crash that happened on Iron Springs Road Friday afternoon.
Police say a man riding a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling westbound when he attempted to pass 3 vehicles near Doce Pit Road when he struck the front vehicle that was making a left hand turn.
The vehicle the motorist struck was a 2016 Dodge 1 ton pickup.
According to police, the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision and was thrown from the bike.
Nearby motorists attempted to help the rider, while the passengers in the truck left the scene in order to get cell phone coverage to call police.
Police have identified the deceased as 41-year-old Brandon Michael Wilson of Skull Valley, Arizona.
