Prescott used to be the capitol of a dusty territory in the late 1800's which would later become Arizona.

While it may not be the political powerhouse it once was, one of its current residents has been a political force her entire life.

"This is a story of my life," said Jerry Emmett pointing to a quilt on her wall.

Emmett has been politically active since she turned 21 back in the 1930's.

She's voted in the last 21 presidential elections, dating back to FDR.

Voting means everything to her.

"I went through World War I and II," added Emmett.

Emmett has rubbed elbows with the powerful, for nearly as long as Arizona has been a state.

One look at her kitchen table, with a picture of Bill and Hillary Clinton it, and there's no debate on who she is supporting for President in 2016.

"I'm the one who started the Hillary Clinton fan club in the State of Arizona," said Emmett.

Emmett was in the running to be a superdelegate for Hillary, but learned Monday, she wasn't selected.

Emmett will be 102 when the Democratic Convention rolls around this summer in Philadelphia, and she's determined to be there.

"I'll live it up!" said Emmett.

From the fight for woman to vote in the 1920's, to now possibly voting for the first woman nominee for president, Jerry says it's important, maybe more than ever, for everyone to get out and vote.

Emmett's son says she may still be an honorary delegate for her lifetime of voting.
