Three injured in fiery vehicle collision in Yucca

YUCCA, AZ - A vehicle accident that occurred Sunday morning in Yucca, Arizona left one truck in flames and three individuals in serious condition.

According to Mohave County Sheriff's Office, 55-year-old Bullhead City resident Lance Arbogast was driving westbound on a gas line road with his 11-year-old grandson.

As Arbogast crossed S. Butch Cassidy Road, he collided with 57-year-old Francine Virginia Armendariz, a resident of Yucca.

Armendariz' 1991 Chevrolet pickup truck caught fire after it hit Arbogast's 1984 Ford Bronco.

Passing motorists were able to remove Armendariz from her vehicle before the truck was engulfed in flames. 

Yucca Fire Department was able to extricate Arbogast and his grandson from their Bronco.

All three individuals were airlifted to Las Vegas trauma centers, according to a news release.

They are said to be in serious condition but stable as of early Monday afternoon.

The accident is still under investigation.
