A Prescott Valley mother is facing a murder charge after her 3-month-old daughter was found unresponsive in a bathtub.

According to police, on September 17th around 2:40 p.m. medical crews were called to a home near Sunset Lane and Glassford Hill Road after reports of a baby who was found unresponsive in a bathtub.

Cardio pulmonary resuscitation was performed on the girl while medical crews arrived; the child was taken to Phoenix Children's Hospital in Phoenix. The girl was placed on life support, however on September 20th the child was taken off of life support and passed away.

Nine days after the child's death, Angela Clark, 29, was arrested for 2nd degree murder. Police believe the child was left unattended in a bathtub at the home. The bathtub had water. Officials believe the girl was left in the tub without any supervision for over 25 minutes.
