A California man accused of fatally shooting his father at an Arizona campsite last month has been extradited from his hometown.

Authorities say 21-year-old Francis Claude Klettke was arrested during an Oct. 29 traffic stop in Union City, California.

Yavapai County Sheriff's officials said Monday that Klettke now has been booked into jail on suspicion of second-degree murder.

It's unclear if he has a lawyer yet.

Sheriff's officials say the body of 60-year-old Dale Klettke, also of Union City, was found Oct. 27 in some brush near where a witness saw him camping the night before.

Investigators say the victim had been shot multiple times and his vehicle was missing.

A witness' description of a suspect seen in the car closely matched Francis Klettke and that led to his arrest.

A judge set Klettke's bond at $200,000 and he remains in Yavapai County custody, according to a news release.
