WILLIAMS, AZ - Two bear cubs have been born at the Bearizona Wildlife Park.
Booboo Bear and Katy Bear were born to two different mothers in January, said Vanessa Stoffell, spokesman for the park.
The two cubs spent the first two months with their mothers and were just weaned, she said. They will now be viewable in a nursery exhibit until May.
At that point, they will be big enough to be within their own enclosure within the walk through area of the park, said Stoffell.
Black Bears can nurse up to six cubs, but cubs typically have a 60 percent mortality rate.
Bearizona is located in Williams, Ariz. and is open year-round starting at 9 a.m. The last car is let in at 4 p.m., according to the park's website.
