KINGMAN, AZ - A 36-year-old Kingman man was arrested Christmas Eve on sex offenses involving a young teen.
According to the Mohave County Sheriff's Office, detectives arrested Brian Ashley Beckham Tuesday afternoon and booked him into the Mohave County Jail.
Authorities say the investigation began on December 11 when detectives responded to Lee Williams High School regarding a sex offense report.
School officials reported that a 15-year-old student said Beckham had been making sexual advances toward her.
Beckham allegedly had been sending pornographic images from the Internet to the victim's cell phone and text messages asking for sexual favors. This had apparently been going on since October 2012.
Child Protective Services took custody of the girl.
Authorities say that during the investigation, detectives confirmed the sexual images and messages were sent from the suspect's phone to the victim's phone.
Beckham was interviewed by detectives at the Mohave County Sheriff's Office and reportedly denied any involvement with the victim.
Beckham faces five counts of aggravated luring of a minor for sexual exploitation, five counts of luring a minor for sexual exploitation and five counts of furnishing harmful material to a minor.
