Authorities arrest Michael Anthony Lozano and Kristina Lynn Pineda on suspicion of growing marijuana

GOLDEN VALLEY, AZ - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Michael Anthony Lozano and Kristina Lynn Pineda Friday on suspicion of growing and selling marijuana.

According to the Mohave County Sheriff's Office, the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team and deputies served a search warrant at the Golden Valley home and found that the garage was being used to grow marijuana.

Officials said the garage had lighting and a water and cooling system with timers.

Authorities took 500 marijuana plants from the home.

Officials said they also found plastic bags and a vacuum sealing system. Lozano and Pineda allegedly packaged hashish and marijuana in the bags for sale.

According to officials, the packaged bags weighed approximately 28 pounds.

Lozano and Pineda were arrested on suspicion of producing marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale and other felony counts, according to the Mohave County Sheriff's Office.
