FLAGSTAFF, AZ - A winter weather advisory for Flagstaff and northern Arizona has been canceled.
Meteorologists were expecting from 3 to 5 inches of snow above 6,500 feet Thursday morning from the cold storm.
One ABC15 viewer said the snow was steady from about 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and had melted by noon.
Some of the heaviest snow, about 5 inches, was at Arizona Snowbowl which has skiers, boarders and businesses excited.
We even found one man who'd pulled out his cross country skis but said there just wasn't quite enough snow.
Another couple, visiting the area, had to run out to buy some warmer clothes.
It was one of the earliest snows people could remember, but overall everyone agreed the snow mixed beautifully with the fall colors.
