FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - If you live in Flagstaff, don't be surprised if you soon notice more motorcycles than usual zooming by.
From September 15 to 18, The International Association of Firefighters Motorcycle Group will bring firefighters from around the country and Canada to the area for a national rally. Captain Kevin Wilson says the event will have fundraisers and other activities, including organized rides throughout Northern Arizona.
Some of these rides include a “Remember Our Fallen” escorted ride to Prescott, as well as an unescorted ride to Colorado Springs, Colo., for the annual IAFF Fallen Firefighters Memorial Ceremony.
The rally is expecting more than 200 participants with participants staying in local hotels where they can enjoy everything Flagstaff has to offer.
Proceeds from the fundraisers will go toward the Local Flagstaff Firefighters Charities account, which is used for various charitable organizations throughout Arizona.
Unfortunately, this event is not open to the public, but will most likely be a sight to see.
