FLAGSTAFF, AZ - The Flagstaff Police Department and Hazardous Materials Response Team busted a suspected meth lab Tuesday morning.
Fire spokesman Bill Morse said an officer was originally called to the Christmas Tree Estates by neighbors complaining of a subject yelling out of a second story window and acting irrationally.
The officer on scene discovered what he thought was an illegal drug lab. He left the house and called for back up.
The HAZMAT team arrived, entered the house and confirmed it was a possible meth lab.
Morse said neighboring residences were evacuated and the street was blocked off for public safety.
Crews re-entered the house, removed evidence, and sent it to HAZMAT experts to be analyzed.
When determined safe, the street was reopened and residents were allowed to return to their homes.
