Officials are looking for the suspect who is responsible for calling in threats to a Scottsdale preschool.

Scottsdale Police told ABC15 they have recently responded twice to Bright Horizons Child Care near 92nd Street and Shea Boulevard in reference to threatening phone calls.

The daycare closed on Thursday, and plans to stay closed until Monday.

Haley Otis' 11-month-old daughter attends the daycare, but not she's searching for new options.

"It's not the center at all," Otis said. "It's just completely the random person that decides to make our whole lives hell."

Another parent told ABC15 that the threats involved kidnapping children at the center.

"It was like ice to the chest — it was immediately just horrifying," Otis said. "I, like, couldn't even speak as I was telling my co-workers, 'I need to go get my daughter."

Scottsdale Police spokesman Kevin Watts said that both calls consisted of "vague statements," but a call received Thursday morning did have "some investigable information for follow up."

Watts said at this point, police assume the calls are related.

The source of the call is under investigation.
