Seen him? PD: Scottsdale police seeking information about a bank robbery suspect

SCOTTSDALE, AZ - The Scottsdale Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect in an armed bank robbery.

The suspect approached the Wells Fargo Bank located inside a Safeway store, near Hayden and Chaparral roads, on Wednesday afternoon.

He pointed a black handgun at the teller, demanded money and left after he obtained an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police.

He was last seen driving away in a dark mid-sized sedan.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, 5 foot 8 inches, clean shaven, larger build, shaved head or short hair and is between the ages of 35 and 40 years old. He was last seen wearing a light blue short sleeved polo shirt with dark blue horizontal stripes, dark colored pants, dark colored shoes and a dark colored baseball hat with a red logo.

The suspect was also carrying a black laptop bag.
