Scottsdale police locate man wanted in sex case

SCOTTSDALE, AZ - Scottsdale police say they’ve arrested a man believed to have had sexual contact with a juvenile family member.

Officer David Pubins said Nkrumah “Nick” Kelly was spotted by a family friend at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.

The family friend called police and officers arrived to take him into custody without incident.

Pubins said Kelly was still being interviewed and charges would be made available in the morning.

Over the weekend police sent out a photograph to help locate Kelly who is believed to have had sexual contact with the young family member on February 28.

Kelly was located in the area of 68th Street and Thomas Road.
