Scottsdale police book Isiah Scales on multiple charges after second break-in at ex-girlfriend's

SCOTTSDALE, AZ - Scottsdale police arrested a man Saturday after he allegedly broke into his ex-girlfriend's apartment and tried to attack her.

According to a police report, the arrest came hours after Isiah Scales, 26, was taken into custody Friday night for making threats and violating an order of protection his ex-girlfriend had against him.

According to the report, Scales saw a judge that night and was released early Saturday morning.

Around 10:45 a.m Saturday morning, police were called to Scales' ex-girlfriend's apartment complex near 78th Street and Indian School Road after receiving reports of a man climbing a tree trying to get into a second story apartment.

When officers arrived, they forced entry into the home and found Scales naked inside.

They later learned Scales broke in through in an upstairs window and was trying to sexually assault and choke his ex-girlfriend.

Police took Scales into custody without incident.

Authorities said the 24-year-old victim refused medical treatment.

Scales was booked on multiple charges including kidnapping and aggravated assault.
