SCOTTSDALE, AZ - Scottsdale police issued a warning Friday night after a bobcat was sighted at Chaparral Park.
Officials say a park employee spotted the bobcat in the bushes at the park near McDonald Drive and Hayden Road.
Game and Fish Department officials are asking people to use caution with their children, avoid thick vegetation and keep their dogs on a leash.
There were several people at the park Friday night. Some of them were playing baseball, others were walking their dogs.
ABC15 spoke to several dog owners who weren't nervous for their safety and the safety of their pets, but more curious as to how a bobcat made its way into the middle of Scottsdale.
Game and Fish will not try to remove the bobcat unless it becomes aggressive.
They're urging park visitors to stay away from the animal if you see it.
