The crash occurred just before 8 a.m. at Chaparral and Scottsdale roads.

Scottsdale police spokesman Mark Clark said a Kia sedan crashed into the 11-person Ford transport van while the van was pulling from a private driveway on Scottsdale Road to go southbound.

Officials say four people affiliated with the Giants were hurt and taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Kia sedan was not injured.
