SCOTTSDALE - Scottsdale Police were able to take a suspected bank robber into custody after an incident Tuesday morning.
According to police, officers responded to an alarm at a Chase Bank near E. Via Linda Road and N. Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard around 8 a.m.
The bank was not yet open at the time of the call, but police found an armed man inside the building with employees held at gunpoint.
The employees had been tied up, but not injured, police say.
The responding officers were able to peacefully resolve the situation around 20 minutes later.
The man was successfully taken into custody.
