SCOTTSDALE, AZ - A local no-kill and non-profit animal shelter is in danger of losing their facility due to a plummet in donations.
Safe Haven For Animals in Scottsdale is in need of help after an increase in cats but a lack of donations over the summer.
As a non-profit, the shelter relies on donations to feed the cats and pay rent, but the seasonal drop in donations has left them in a crisis situation.
As of July 23, the center is not accepting more cats as their capacity is full and their wallets are limited.
The organization is hoping animal lovers will provide monetary donations or supplies like canned cat food and litter.
Other assistance such as fostering is another way to lift the shelter's burden and allow them to accept more cats in need.
