Police search for suspect in Scottsdale sexual assault

SCOTTSDALE, AZ - Scottsdale police have released a sketch hoping to catch the suspect in a sexual assault.

Police say that around 1:30 p.m. on Friday an adult female opened the door to a man who said he had a delivery.

The suspect pushed his way inside the apartment and demanded the victim remove her clothes.

He then restrained the victim with a clothing item and began sexually assaulting her.

Police say when the suspect’s attention was diverted he left the apartment.

The suspect is described as a light, brown-skinned male, 6 feet tall in his late 20s, with greasy hair and dirty clothing.

Scottsdale detectives returned to the apartment complex near Frank Lloyd Wright and Thompson Peak Parkway on Saturday to pass out flyers with a sketch of the suspect and his description.

Anyone with information about the suspect is urged to call Scottsdale police at 480-312-5000 or 480-312-TIPS to remain anonymous.
