Scottsdale police have arrested a 46-year-old woman in connection with a deadly motorcycle accident from August.
Police say they took Tracy Shelden Morehouse into custody on Tuesday night for a charge of second-degree murder.
The arrest comes after Morehouse allegedly struck and killed a motorcyclist, 45-year-old Greg Dolphin, with her Tesla S85 on August 13 at Scottsdale Road and Princess Drive.
Before the collision, Morehouse was reportedly seen driving south in the northbound lanes on Scottsdale Road and collided with another vehicle near Chauncey Lane.
Police say Morehouse failed to stop and remain on scene of the first collision and fled south on Scottsdale Road, reaching speeds of more than 100 miles per hour until she collided with Dolphin as he was waiting for the red light at Princess Drive.
Investigators say they learned that Morehouse was traveling in excess of 84 miles per hour at the point of impact in the collision with Dolphin.
Her blood analysis reportedly showed that her blood alcohol concentration was .355%.
No injuries were reported in the first collision.
