SCOTTSDALE, AZ - Officials are searching for the vehicle that hit a pregnant woman in Scottsdale on Thursday.
Scottsdale police said the incident happened just before 3:00 p.m. at Scottsdale Road and Greenway Parkway.
The woman was walking across the street with the right of way when a vehicle hit her. The momentum of the vehicle caused the woman to be lifted onto the hood. She slid off and resumed standing, police said.
The woman told police the vehicle initially pulled to the curb but eventually drove away from the scene.
The victim is 15 weeks pregnant. She received bruises to her leg and hand.
Police said the vehicle that left the scene is a gold, four-door Honda sedan that looks beat up and dirty. The victim said the driver is a male in his mid to late 30s with short dark hair.
