The Scottsdale Police Department responded to a gunshot call at a Cactus Food Mart in Scottsdale that injured one person.
Officials said a formerly convicted man walked into a food mart near Hayden and Thomas roads on Saturday with a gunshot wound to his abdomen.
The man refused to tell officials where the shooting happened.
According to police, the man has a prior drug history and officials believe the shooting is most likely related to a drug deal.
The man is not cooperating with police, and his injuries are not life-threatening.
