Two people have been arrested after an overnight chase involving several police agencies.
Phoenix police, Salt River police, Scottsdale police and the Department of Public Services all responded to the pursuit that started around 4 a.m. Sunday morning.
DPS says the suspect attempted to run over several officers after they pulled him over for suspected DUI.
The suspect then led police through several cities before jumping out of the car and running into a neighborhood near Scottsdale Road and Cactus Road. The suspect and a passenger in the vehicle were both taken into custody moments later.
Police have not said if the passenger is connected to the investigation. Luckily nobody was seriously injured.
