The episode featuring Amy's Baking Company was the first time chef Gordon Ramsay walked out on the show's guests after he got fed up with their attitudes and the way they treated employees and customers.
The event, for which seating is limited, will give diners the opportunity to "judge for themselves the character of owners Amy and Samy… who have devoted their lives to and earn their living from their small restaurant."
The press release asks the public to decide who is correct: a celebrity chef (Ramsay) or "the marketplace that has supported the small, locally owned business for six years."
The owners will hold a short press conference before the re-opening event to answer questions about their business, confront assertions that they confiscate tips from wait staff and explain what happened to their Facebook page.
"We are very upset by what has taken place, apologize about the acrimony that ensued but must fight back to save our business," Bouzaglo said. "We hope and believe much good can result from what has transpired."
