SCOTTSDALE, AZ - Two people have been displaced from their Scottsdale home after a fire broke out Tuesday night.
Scottsdale fire Capt. Adam Hoster said the fire near 98th Street and Sweetwater Avenue was reported around 11 p.m.
Hoster said the home's occupants were already out of the house when firefighters arrived. He said they awoke to the smoke detectors going off.
The fire was contained mostly to the garage, but did spread to two rooms of the second floor, Hoster said.
Crews kept the fire from spreading to nearby homes.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
