PHOENIX - A robot built by students from the Paradise Valley High School Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics program threw out the first pitch prior to D-backs' game against the Washington Nationals Wednesday.
The S.T.E.M kids watched in pride as "Bruce" landed his pitch right over home plate.
The robot, who was clad in a D-backs hat and school shirt, is part of the Diamondbacks Science of Baseball program.
